    I have been having major issues with chat of all kinds in the last week. It doesnt matter if im in a party not in a party, hosting or not hosting. Incoming voice audio is muted on the headset randomly, unplugging the headset allows voice to be heard through
    the speakers. other players can hear me but i cant hear anyone else. Hard resetting the xbox will fix the problem for about 30 seci ds to 5 mins. Reassigning the headset will also make it work for like 30 seconds. I have astro a50's which i just replaced to
    ensure that wasnt the issue. Also have about 220mbps down and 30mbls up internet.

    I have done all the normal troubleshooting techniques. Even went so far as to purchase a new controller and headset. Did a soft reset today and didnt fix my issue. Since in in the alpha skip ahead im rolling back an update to see if its a problem with the
    newest update. It seems to get worse when the xbox has been on for awhile like its overheating and causing chat to dc.

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that voice audio is not coming through your headset at random times. We recommend making sure that your

    controller is up to date    . It's possible that a software issue could be causing the audio to react this way. Also, what is your NAT type? This can be located in your

    network settings    . Be sure to let us know the results!

    I'm just curious, what exactly is the issue? Is it both outgoing and incoming chat that done work? Just incoming? Just outgoing? Have you made sure that you assigned a profile to a controller before attempting to use voice chat?

    Lol, goto audio settings, turn voice to 0%, only problem now is that you will no longer hear incoming ssr announcements
