Inadvertent Cancel/Refund

HI,

I was directed here by X Box Chat support.

On 4/21 I purchased Fortnite: Save the World Standarad Founders Pack for my son at the 50% discount rate. After buying it the game was not loading, and he told me I bought the wrong thing. So I went into my account and requested a refund for it. After
a while the game started working, so we realized I did buy the right thing.

I received an email from Customer Support saying I could reply to the email to update or cancel my request. I replied to the email asking to disregard the refund request as I had realized I did purchase the correct item. I did not think anything of it
until today when I got a notice that the refund had been processed and the game removed.

Support told me that the only way to get the game back is to purchase it again. The problem is now it is back at full price and I have no way to get the 50% discount. Since I told them on Sunday to cancel my request, I feel that I should be given a code
to purchase it again at the sale price. Can you help? The also told me if I had a copy of my email that I sent that I should include it here, which I am doing.

Unfortunately that's not something that can be handled via the forums. You can try replying to the emails you received again to contact the refund specialists to see if there is anything they could do, but otherwise, support is correct. You would have
to repurchase it.

You could also try to refund the subscription and purchase it again after the refund. To cancel a subscription and ask for a refund, please go to:

https://account.microsoft.com/services

- Select Manage next to the subscription you want to cancel.

- Select Cancel subscription or Turn off recurring billing.

- Select Cancel immediately and get a refund.
