inactive account has username

I apologize but that will not be possible, even if the Xbox profile is inactive the Microsoft account where it is linked may be used. The only way for you to use it if the account will be closed or the owner will change it into something else.

An inactive Xbox account will be deleted after being inactive for 5 years. If you have made a purchase on that account, It will not be deleted. My best advice would be to have a slight alteration of the desired username to be unique. As an example, if the
name Deathzone117 is taken, you can try . I hope this helps,

I hope they change it in someway like maybe make it like youtube where if an account has been inactive for a long time you can request that username.

Like also for example what's have the account is inactive what happens then is the username lost in time or?

2nd you cant take the name if you DoubleCheck the name

There is a major problem you aren't seeing and it has nothing to do with his activeness

In order to take a name without HASHTAGS no-one can have it and it must be unique however since you aren't the only one thinking it's unique it's taken not once but 4x so even if the original person changes their name you cant take it without a hashtag anyways since 4 other accounts have that name also abeit a hashtag considering some of the posts are within 60 days you ain't going to get all 5 name reset

You will just have to take the hashtag or.some up with a different spelling tons of others already have
