    Inability to load digital games following light shutdown (Started after last update)


    Just as title states, any digital game on my Xbox One X (regardless of internal or external storage) will not load unless my console has been booted up from a full shutdown with no moment of suspension since boot. This is universal across all forms of digital games, occurring on games I own outright, GamePass titles, EA Access titles, and Preview titles. The method of failure varies from title to title, however. Some simply freeze on the "Syncing data" screen. Some time out on the title screen and crash with the "took too long" error. Some will simply lock up on the initial loading screen indefinitely until I quit the title or shut down the console.

    I understand I can "solve" this by always doing full shutdowns, but that is beside the point. It is a feature which is not functioning as intended, and it began immediately following the most recent update. I have used the Report Problem feature, but I am unsure how accurately my reports have been classified since the issue seems to be tied into numerous possible areas for reporting.

    Anyone else having this experience?

    confusing problem...

    Sounds like you are in a update loop error. What happens when you shutdown and start up does it load trying to update immediately?

    Minecraft loaded in old world and freezes

    I have unistalled the game and re installed the game.

    Also did the the xbox full shutdown and restart.

    Game is digital

    world is loading in and only loads part of the map and freezes and wont load anything else

    i got it on my x1, i try picking a game mode and it starts searching and loading or whatever and then goes away and your still at the game mode menu, started happening after the last update

    this is microsoft new Strategy .

    after last console update can not play game pass games in offline mode Particular after console restart or shutdown.

    after console restart or shutdown we should ones connect to internet , open all game pass game At least once And then make console offline and set power setting to instant-on mode until console wont go in full shutdown mode.

    If the power goes out .you need reconnect to internet after boot and repeat above Instructions.
