In Game Pass for PC, uninstalling a game also deletes the save files?

Hi,

Now the Xbox Game Pass PC App still in Beta so it's in developpment and you can't have all feature of definitive version for this app. For me i don't have a problem about it for now and when i uninstalled and reinstalled Forza Horizon i still have my save
files.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums with this question. In general, so long as you're logged into your Microsoft/Xbox account and connected to the internet, any saves would automatically be collected in the Cloud
to your profile specifically. Insofar as any missing save files on your PC, if you've deleted or uninstalled the game at some point, its possible that you selected to delete all information associated with the game, including saves; however, you should be
able to pick up where you left off in game play once the information syncs from your account.

In general, whenever you have an issue concerning a game on a Windows 10 PC, we'd recommend using our support article entitled Game
freezes or stops responding on a Windows 10 device for troubleshooting as there are solutions that may be tried prior to uninstalling/reinstalling the game first. It is also recommended that you back up any information prior to do so as well. There is

but some pc mini game can't

some game even don't have xbox live connect!

Just wanted to add this (If you've already uninstalled your game(s), then you may already know this). Might help someone though.

Your game save files are separate from the game data itself. If you uninstall the game, you don't uninstall or delete your save files, just the game itself.

Also, there are 2 copies of your game save files. One is on your console, the other is on the cloud. If you try to delete your game save(s), you will be prompted to make a choice. It will give you the option of deleting the copy on the console, or both the
console and cloud copies.

You will only lose all of your game save(s) and progress if you choose to delete all copies.
