    Hello Forum Community,

    It seems my in game chat text is not visible to other players when playing Minecraft (For Windows 10) on the lifeboat network. I have checked with Microsoft support that the chat filter is not blocking my text. They reported that my account was 'healthy'
    and without restriction and have subsequently directed me here to this forum for additional support to hopefully solve the issue.

    Chat always used to work fine on the Lifeboat Network, but now it seems that other players in-game cannot see what I type in chat. It is problematic at best for me to verify this on my end, and my text does seem to appear in my chat feed, just not other players.
    Friends have also asked me why the cannot see my chat text in-game, so I can only assume it is not working as expected.

    Any help for this issue would be greatly appreciated.

    Sign Text Displaying Random Messages On Lifeboat Networks Survival Servers Using Minecraft Windows10

    Hello Community

    My son often plays Minecraft version 1.2.5 on Windows 10 using my Gamertag / Xbox Live Account. When playing on the survival mode servers on the lifeboat network, every time my son enters any sort of text or message into an in-game wooden sign he places,
    instead of displaying what he types the sign displays a repeating series of random messages in white font. Such as "No!" and "Look Behind You" and "e=mc2" and such. The message changes every time a new character is typed; is clearly a random per-defined list
    and an obvious hack, patch, virus, or whatever.

    I tried support via Microsoft chat and they told me it was a known issue and had been fixed, and that an update was all I needed, which i did but the random text persists. I also tried Uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft with no luck.

    Is there a know fix for this issue yet please?

    Looked through some of the help articles - man the information is confusing.

    Anyways from what I'm inferring from the posts is that you can play Windows 10 to Windows 10, and Pocket Edition to Windows 10 and that's it right now.

    To turn that on:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Profile & system > Settings > Ease of Access > Game and chat transcription.
    3. To transcribe other party members’ voices into text, select the Speech-to-text checkbox.
    4. To have your chat text read aloud to other party members, select the Text-to-speech checkbox. To choose the voice that other people will hear when your chat text is read aloud, select one of the available voices in the Text-to-speech voice menu.
