In-game Brightness Settings Returning to Default Upon Restarting The Game

first set the screen defaults on the screen built in menu, then when the game is running go into settings and adjust the brightness to a lower point, then increase the screen brightness to suite. as the screen recording comes from the gpu not what you see on screen.

or use obs studio which is free and is better for recording.

It depends on the TV. If they fix this, the settings you used before may work. The most important thing is that if they fix all the causes contributing to the issue, it would produce consistent results between games and video and finding the optimum settings
would be much easier.

Until then, there are two options:

1.) Do what you do now, and lower the brightness setting on the TV upon video playback, then restoring it for gaming.

2.) If your TV has an option for the HDMI inputs to to switch between Full and Limited range, you can use that to compensate for the video problem instead of the brightness setting. For games, set it to Full, and for videos set it to Limited. This assumes that
you keep the RGB+Expanded settings on the Xbox 360.

This is not true. I stopped playing the game when I had to leave, and restarted the game upon my return, yet 5 hours are added. As for the comment that "time does not matter" then why track the time in the first place.

Fix this bug and improve this experience for everyone.

So i set my cinema settings to default and they are:

Contrast:100

Brightness:58

Color:51

Tint:0

Sharpness:0

Color temp:Warm

I know that all image enhancements should be off when gaming but should they also be off when watching movies or tv?
