For the past 4 days I've had some issues with in game audio on my xbox series s. Strangely the xbox home page notifications audio works and even more wierd that the problem only happens at night. I've replaced my hdmi cable, did a factory reset on my console and TV and used help on the trouble shoot on some websites but none of them have worked. Was wondering if anyone else had the same problem and if so any help to resolve this would be great

Thanks for the update. This is still happening even after the offline update?

In any case (if its the game or the system the one with the bug) please proceed reporting now the problem using the link shared above

Hopefully it will be fixed in the next system update

By the way, as a last advise, let's try this (can be a bit odd but worth trying it)

Disable the HDMI CEC features (all):

Go to Settings > General > Sleep mode & startup > TV & A/V power options

Hello

Sorry for taking so long tk get back to you. The problem is still happening to my xbox however it isn't as bad as it was before. When the audio dose turn off I take the HDMI cable out and put it in a different slot and for some reason that fixes it. I don't think the TV is the issue though as this now only happens after I play minecraft for more then a hour. So I don't know either thr game is bugged or the console system is bugged.

May I know if you tried using a different sound setting?

For example, if you're using 5.1 audio change it instead and select Stereo uncompressed

You can do this via Settings > General > Audio output

If the issue persists try with each audio option available.

Do you know if your Xbox OS received an update?
Just to see if maybe the latest update is the one causing this issue.

In any case, the next step will be perform an offline update for your console. In that way Xbox system will be installed/updated from scratch.
For this you need a USB and PC to format it and transfer files provided in the link below (with steps):

Hello thank you for the response

The link you've sent me is the trouble shoot that I've already tried and also changed many settings including doing a factory reset but the problem contunes.

One thing I forgot to mention is this happens after I've played a game such as minecraft or world train sim 2 for a, few hours and then when I shut the game down and start another game that's when the problem occurs. Also the audio dose come back the next day I turn the console on.

The menu sound dose work all the time even when the in game audio dosnt work.
