There are a lot of people who play the game, know what to do and how to play their chosen class. Wanting only people of a certain rank or higher, is rather pedantic as (like others have said) N7 rank means nothing. All you can do
FueldRockets is either play with friends/people you've played with in the past or keep trying your luck with PUGs. Best thing you can do, is make sure you know how to play effectively and efficiently as your chosen class.

Interesting - I haven't done much online in this game so I haven't run into that.

That does seem disjointed from other Forza titles which would allow you to choose from any car that "could" be eligible for the chosen class (and then you'd apply a tune or auto-upgrade to get it in the right class for the race).

pass, have you attempted to uninstall and then install Forza Horizon 4 on your PC?

I don't have the game, but regarding your question about GT1 cars...I believe this is referring to cars that run/ran in the FIA GT1 class. Though of course the game doesn't really explain what that is, or how to find such a car (at least Forza 3 didn't...I'm
assuming Forza 4 is no better).

Generally you'll be looking for a car like the Maserati MC12, Corvette C5R, Saleen S7. I believe there should be some cars like the Ferrari 550 or 575 and Aston Martin Vanquish which were campaigned in the GT1 class as well.
