In family safety I entered a family members email address incorrectly. How to I change this.

With a family account, you can decide which things to authorize for your children and monitor their activities.

Press the Xbox button on the controller to open the Guide.
Select Profile & system, then sign in to your account.

Press the Xbox button again to open the Guide, then select Profile & system > Settings > Account > Family settings > Manage family members.

Select Add to family > Add new.

When prompted for an email address, enter the existing email address. If they don't have one, select Get a new email address.

Agree to the Microsoft Services Agreement and Privacy Statement.

An organizer must verify the addition of the member to the family group with a mobile device, PC, or Xbox console:

If you select This Xbox: enter your Microsoft account and then follow the steps to allow the creation of the member's account.
If you select From phone/PC: you'll be asked to provide your email address.
Enter it and then follow the steps in the email you receive to give consent for the creation of the member's account.

All organizers in a family group have the authority to manage member accounts, such as setting content limits, approving time extension requests, and adding new members to the group. Do you mean to cancel parental controls in Windows? According to your description, you have not added the account to the family group. The specific method of adding the family group is as follows:

Use a web browser to visit Microsoft Family Safety ， log in to your Microsoft account (it needs to be an adult account), then select "Add a family member", enter the family member's phone number or email address, and click Next. Determine the family member role (member or organizer), then click Next > Invite. It should be noted that the invitee will receive a link to join via email. It will prompt to log in to their Microsoft account to accept and join the family group. If you are under the legal age, you will also receive a prompt to request adult permission when performing some operations (such as purchasing games).

Thanks, this helped. I added my card to his account, it worked but now in Family Safety his name has changed to mine - probably because I entered my email address when adding the card (as I assumed it had to be my contact details not his).
