In-dashboard promotional code not received (xbl gold 3-month + DLC offer)

Hello, around April 11th of this year I purchased the discounted 3 month xbox live gold package through the "looking for gold?" In-dashboard promotional offer. The package was meant to include a promotional code for the "mercenary pack" dlc for Sea of Thieves,
and was meant to be received through the Xbox Message Center by 5\31\2018. Unfortunately the code has not come through the message center nor any other communications platform. I hope someone can help, thank you for your time.

No email with promotional code received - and the email with the receipt is suspiciously vague about the promotion (calling it a 20% off gold promotion... bought from dashboard)

3 month live promotion code expired.

I bought three months of xbl during the buy 3 get 3 free promotion.

I redeemed the first three months and received the email with the code for the next 3 months. I was not aware this was a "promotional code" as opposed to a real 3 month code and I did not open the email as I had no need to redeem the code at the time.

When my xbl expired I went to my email to use my next 3 month code and found it was a promotional code which expired on march 31st 2 weeks after I received it.

Is there a way to remedy this situation and get my second 3 month code.

As I see it I have paid for 6 months of xbl and only received 3 months.

Bit of a follow up, I think I discovered why I didn't get the code. I found the promotional page and in the fine print the offer excludes anyone who participated in the 1-month for $1 offer since July of 2017 which I did in November. So I wasn't actually
eligible and I guess shouldn't have been able to even see the deal? Sad but at least it seems I now know why.

Just to clarify, did you purchase a 3 month Xbox Live Gold membership through the dashboard offer on your console? Or did you redeem a pre-paid code? In order for you to qualify for this offer you would have needed to purchase an Xbox Live Gold membership
through the promotion on your console. Redeeming a pre-paid code will not qualify for this promotion.

that was the promo... Buy 3 months Xbox Live Gold then get 3 months extra for free... But i haven't received any codes... even after my subscription i bought expired last week!!

Hey, DtroitPunk72. This offer is not valid for anyone that redeemed a code. This is offer is valid for purchasing Xbox Live Gold through the promotion on the dashboard. If you added an Xbox Live Gold token to your account during this promotion, it will not
qualify you for this promotion.
