I think honestly that Phil Spencer wants to work more collaboratively with Sony and Nintendo. Not so much in bringing console exclusives to other platforms as that would devaluate the consoles and not really offer any competition. But more so in infrastructure
collaboration, particularly in the area of Cross-Platform play. Nintendo has been particularly receptive to this, but apparatently there has been some apprehnsion from Sony.

Well I won't be rushing out to buy one upon it's release but if the price is right......?

With Sony ditching their 'cell' then I would expect there to be little or no difference between either console when it comes to multi-platform releases which is an area where the XBOX is very strong this gen.

In fact in terms of gaming then I don't expect there to be much between the next PS/XBOX consoles so for me the real incentive would be the exclusive games on offer.

I'm more than happy with my xbox as it is when comes to multi media stuff so like I said earlier... there'd be no rush to upgrade to a new one.

It won't change anything between EA,Sony,Microsoft.....

EA makes exclusives games only on PC.

EA access becames a Xbox one exclusive by default.(Not an EA/Microsoft choice).

And EA ,in the future,might sells some exclusives contents (or time exclusives) on both consoles (like EA did previously).....
