    Impossible to start a repair order


    Is anyone else aware of this issue and able to advise?

    I have a shiny new Series X which won't turn on. The problem appears to be faulty hardware; it needs a repair by Microsoft.

    But the interface for creating a repair order at account.microsoft.com is not working properly. I reach the stage where it asks for an address, and then it dies with a fairly useless error message "Sorry, something went wrong.We’re not sure what happened, but refreshing the page may help, or trying again in a little while."

    Does anyone know if there's a solution to this or an alternative way to get in touch with Microsoft to set up a repair order?

    Tried from December too same issue. Even chat agent couldn't create order till this day

    Tried that too for several days now.

    It's another dead end:

    - there is no Web Chat available AFAIK except for the virtual agent, or community.

    - Request a Call brings up a Virtual Agent to collect the mobile number

    - Virtual Agent CAPTCHA passed OK

    - Input my mobile number (valid UK number, same as on the account)

    - Every time I get the following error:
