Impossible to send a message in xbox live

Try these steps and see if this helps:

1. Sign into this page account.live.com/proofs/Manage

2. Look under where it says "Security Info helps keep your account secure" make sure you have a up to date phone number and email down there. If not, add both. If you already have an email and phone number then remove both and add them back.

3. Go to the Xbox One and restart the console or Hold Power Button for 10 seconds and then turn back on.

Hello sometimes, the servers are having problems and sending messages is impossible. We have to wait until everything is back to normal

if Microsoft could implement a censor, I would rather it gave a warning when you typed the message before you sent it saying "the message you are about to send contains content that some may find offensive which could be reported and that could result in
a suspension of Xbox Live services. do you still wish to send it?"

it is also possible to send threatening or harassing messages without using offensive words, so those messages would be almost impossible to censor.

for Party Chat it would be impossible as any form of audio censoring would add in a huge delay making Party Chat useless in team/squad based games.

best option is to moderate your own language.

in text messages it takes more effort to type swear words than it does to leave them out.

if you can't stop yourself from swearing in Party Chat, only use it with friends that you know won't take offense.
