    IMPOSSIBLE TO GET SUPPORT - XBOX SERIES X WON'T LOAD


    I seem to be stuck in some awful, loop

    Issue 1: My brand new Xbox Series X does not work. It turns on, but no HDMI Output is detected
    I have tried: 3 different HDMI cables, 3 different TVs. I have tried Power Cycle, booting in Low-Res mode and Hard Reset. Nothing works

    Issue 2: So I am trying to submit a Service Request as I think the console may be faulty, but, when I get to "Add new address" in the process, I click 'Add New Address' and it instantly takes me to webpage saying "Something went wrong"
    I have tried submitting this ticket in Chrome, incognito and in Edge, from 2 different Laptops and a mobile phone. Always the same result

    Issue 3: So I try to contact Microsoft/Xbox support. But, when I request a Callback it says "Something went wrong our end", and when I call Microsoft an automated voice tell me to go online and hangs up on me...

    Seems like I just have to put up with a broken Series X with no way to contact Microsoft/Xbox for support?!

    Madness. Terrible 1st-time-Xbox-User experience

    HDMI Xbox Series S/X

    Hi,

    There is more than enough bandwidth for 1440P @120Hz with HDR on an HDMI 2.0 Monitor. On the current consoles Microsoft decided to lock HDR to 4K displays, but with the Series S that won't be an issue anymore.

    HDMI standards are backwards compatible, so you won't need an HDMI 2.1 compliant Monitor to use Series X or S on an older monitor or TV that only has HDMI 2.0.

    Xbox One X and S can be very fussy when it comes to full monitor support. But if you bought a monitor that fully supports the Xbox One X then it should support the same features on a Series X/S.

    My advice would be to check reviews of monitors actually running on the current consoles with 120Hz support. There are loads of videos on YouTube. Just looking at the specs on a website may not be enough.
