Important News about MyVIP and Pre-Orders

We only recently deployed a hotfix for this issue as of this morning. You should now see the correct MyVIP progress as well as September payback based off of this corrected MyVIP level. Apologies for the confusion. You may be expecting a higher MyVIP due
to a previous issue where pre-orders were adding to MyVIP progress as a result of an error with our September offer that awarded MyVIP progress for pre-orders. That offer was incorrectly awarding for pre-orders made throughout the whole year instead of just
September. Due to this, you may have been seeing an inflated MyVIP level due to your pre-order from the 15th and 22nd incorrectly awarding progress as well as your pre-order on May 22nd. Your most recent purchase (October 10th) was similarly not added to progress
because it was a pre-order.

As mentioned by Smwutches, pre-orders were only eligible for MyVIP in the month of September. Your only pre-orders that month were Bioshock: Collection and Mafia 3. The bulk of your pre-orders were not during that month. In particular, many were made in
the month of October. Pre-orders are not eligible for MyVIP, with the exception of that offer in September. Therefore, those purchases did not increase your MyVIP progress.

Pre-orders are not eligible for MyVIP. Since the overwhelming majority of your spending recently has been on pre-orders, those purchases have not increased your MyVIP level.

Pre-orders are not eligible for MyVIP. While there was a special offer in September that allowed pre-orders for MyVIP, your pre-order was instead Rewarded by the Gears of War offer that was running at the time. Since purchases can only be Rewarded once,
you did not receive VIP payback that month as well. Since pre-orders do not qualify for MyVIP, you did not receive progress for your Call of Duty purchase, but you did get a punch on the Games on Demand punchcard.

Since your account is charged for this purchase, it will go towards your MyVIP rank, as long as your purchase is eligible for MyVIP. Pre-orders, consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP, so as long as the game is released, it will qualify
for MyVIP. There is no requirement to purchase within 30 days of release for a purchase to qualify for MyVIP payback (although it will be eligible if purchased during this time, since it is not a pre-order).
