    (IMPORTANT) My Call of duty Cold War disk keeps stopping by its self


    Is there a fix for when your disk won’t fully install or stops installing at a certain point. When I put my disk my game starts installing,But when it gets to 13 percent it stops installing and when I resume it it keeps stopping and stopping and someone please help me I really want to play on my xbox

    I'm sorry you are having a hard time installing COD CW.

    Besides the two possible solutions mentioned at ( https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/games-apps/...) here are some other ones you could try:

    * Please note that once an installation gives you the "Installation stopped" error, the best thing to do is to cancel it and start it again. Resuming a failed installation will most likely result in it stopping over and over again.

    - Power cycle your console

    Press and hold the console's power button until it shuts down, and unplug it for 3 - 5 minutes. Then try installing the game again.

    - Do you have any external storage units plugged into your console? if you do, please remove them all and try installing your game directly onto the console's internal storage.

    - If that doesn't work or you are not using external storage with your console, then please give this a try:

    - Eject your disc, and leave it out throughout this whole process.

    - Go to Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features, and make sure Remote Features are enabled for your console.

    - Restart your console.

    - Download the Xbox mobile app and connect it to your console.

    - Look for your game through the app's search bar.

    - Select "*Download to console". This should trigger a digital download for the game, even if you've never purchased it digitally.

    - Wait for the game to complete installation and insert the disc, then try launching the game.

    Hi, KevenLucas.

    Try closing the app and power cycling your console, like this:

    - Close the Xbox mobile app.

    - Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds, until it shuts down.

    - Unplug the power cord from your console for 3 minutes (If you have the original Xbox One, unplug the power supply from both the Xbox and the outlet).

    - Plug everything back together and turn your console on.

    - Launch the Xbox app again.



    * If that doesn't work, try disconnecting your console from the app.

    You can disconnect it by pressing the console icon on the app and then selecting > Manage console & Games > and then "Remove console" from the three dots menu.

    * As a last resort, you could try performing a soft factory reset on your console by going to Settings > System > Reset console > Keep games and apps. Once the reset is done, go through the app's setup as you did before.

    NOTE: resetting your console to its factory defaults erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be lost. If your console has been constantly connected to the internet and Xbox Live services, your saved data should be backed up on the cloud.

    The game, Call of Duty - Cold war , brought it from game stop , for the Xbox 1 console. I put the disk in it downloaded but still telling me to purchase game So I can play it ,checked today it's only letting me play Zombies and Multiplayer but no Campaign?
