Imperial Edition question

Will any of the content, namely to play as an Imperial, be available as a download for those unable to buy an Imperial Edition?

So to answer my own question the only way to play as an Imperial is to buy the Imperial Edition or purchase the "Virtual Upgrade".

So "Imperial" doesn't appear as a race to purchase in the store.

To be honest I'm not sure if I find this encouraging or not.

So there's an "Imperial Edition" for the ONE.

Does this mean that Imperials are a locked race that you have to purchase seperately if you don't buy the "Imperial Edition"?

 

Yes you'll be able to upgrade your account either disk or digital copy with the in-game store with the currency from subscription. However you won't be able to get the Molag bal figurine or the strategy guide.

 

You could also upgrade your current preorder for the price of the difference between the 2 copies. They're still the option to buy a pc copy upgrade it for $20 some odd dollars USD and hopefully make 2 accounts for $10-$15 for transfers to xbox. They've
said we'd get an email and I still ain't got the email but I do have a pc copy and I am going to buy another copy via digital copy preorder.

 

The email will not come until a lot closer to June 9th so I'd assume no earlier than June 4- June 7

 

You can upgrade to the Imperial (digital) edition in the crown store. There is also the Adventurer's pack which lets you play any race in any alliance (Imperial aside if you don't own the Imperial edition, of course.)
