Image Sharing Xbox One Beta App

Hi question. I shared an image (on my pc) through Xbox One Beta App which allows attachments in messages. However my friend who was playing on Xbox couldn't see the image when he opened the message. So does both parties have to be on pc to share images?

Yes as long as it's shared on Xbox Live, you should be able to share it and let him view it, unless it's any sort of inappropriate content that might be removed. If it's not showing for him, it might just be having issues loading as well. Sometimes feed
is just blank tiles for me as well, but when I look again later that day, they will have loaded in.

Hi CalebBragg,

if you want to share an Image, you first have to upload the Image to the XBOX Network! After this you can send it as an attachment and your friend can see it.

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you are having issues with clips on the companion app. Here is a guide for

edit and share clips on Windows 10.

Note In March of 2020 the option to upload images and game clips from the Xbox Console Companion (Beta) app was permanently removed. You’ll need to upload images and game clips from the non-beta version of the Xbox Console Companion
app.

I heard on the Xbox one beta app that you can use an image for a custom gamer pic, is that allowed for a custom gamer pic?

I do not see Xbox (beta) app in the app store and data sharing should be active
