I'm what features do the 2004 updates get which the 1911 don't have?

I have found what the problem is. I has to do with the windows feature update from 1909 to 2004. I have another computer that was running 1909 and the adapter worked but once I updated that computer to version 2004 it broke and stopped working. I then downgraded
back to 1909 and it started working again.

The issue appears to be something that is broken in the driver installer for version 2004.

I was able to repeat this behavior between 2 other different computers with the same results, 1903 or 1909 working and 2004 not working.

A temporary fix is to roll back to windows version 1909 or earlier. Unfortunately, a more permanent solution will only happen when Microsoft gets around to it. : (

This is what instant on does. What do think your auto updates idea would do?

And BTW you are not really saving that much energy/money with instant on turned off.

Great input, man. I've got a Taurus .40 with a nickel finish and wood grips in a cherry color which is actually a full frame design that is based on the Beretta 92. After giving it more thought, I'm gonna keep it. I also already have a compact handgun chambered
for .380 ACP so I think I'll just end up getting a 1911 and forget all the other crap for now. I don't know about the Glock in single stack though.

What do you think of/know of Rock Island 1911's? I personally know a guy who owns one and also a Remington 1911. He said he honestly likes the Rock Island better than the Remington. He said his son has a Kimber and he even likes his RI better than the Kimber,

You need to install windows 10 feature update 2004. (At least that worked for me. Changing the audio default didn't work for me.) I have NVidia 2070 with AMD RIZEN 3900X 64GB RAM.

1911 is by far my favorite, 3 shot kills at close range. The G18 suppressed is a solid alternative. I hear the 93R is very good, but I don't have it.

You are correct about the dogtags, I have over 800 kills with the 1911 supp. and no dogtag.
