If it's the 2 month offer, then according to Discord, this would either be because you have had Game Pass before (only open to new subscribers) or you are in an unsupported region:

"Q: I see a "Check the Instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different web page" error when I try to apply my code!

A: If you are seeing this error, that means you do not meet the eligibility requirements to redeem the code!

If you were previously subscribed or currently subscribed to Xbox Game Pass for PC, or an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you will not be able to redeem the two month trial for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate!

I redeemed a code for a two month subscription from Discord Nitro which I believe is the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

Unfortunately it looks like Discord hasn't added a way to claim the Game Pass gifts for PC only subscribers as they describe here Note: Only Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers receive a Nitro subscription. At this point in time, there isn't a way
for PC only Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to claim the Nitro gift.

You may want to contact Microsoft Billing or Discord to discuss what your options are.
