im unable to download the free backward compatibility games

for a long while i have been unable to download the free backward compatibility games for no good reason. when i click the game and hit continue it gives me the message

"Sorry your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com.(i'm on the console) please complete this transaction from your Xbox."

i have also tried to do it over Xbox.com but to no success with the same message.

i have a full gold membership and my account has no restrictions so i need help.

Trouble Downloading Lego Star Wars TCS on Xbox One

Lego Star Wars Is A Free Game of the week and i was wondering why my friend isn't able to download it. I was able to download it fine on my X1 but my friend can't. It says that his Xbox is unable to Download that specific item. I was wondering why this was
happening. It is 360 game. Is it something wrong with the Backwards Compatibility?

Unable to download the witcher 2 through backwards compatibility on my Xbox one. It states the game is free but it will not allow me to purchase without me submitting credit or debit card details. Does anyone know if this issue is likely to be fixed? Don't
want to give card details as I use top up cards. Free should be free.

If you're on a child account, you'll have to make the purchase on a 360 console. Otherwise, make sure you have a credit card/Paypal on file in order to make the purchase.

Unfortunately as Felixx P mentioned. Those games are not currently available via backwards compatibility. As such, you'll be unable to download them onto your Xbox One until/if they become backwards compatible.

The problem is when I try to download it it doesnt work because its a backward compatibility game but it should work. Sorry for bad English im French :/
