I'm trying to upload a skin on Minecraft Bedrock on Android but it won't let me.

Sorry to hear you're having trouble. Have you already tried uploading a different custom skin to see if it will work?

Can you confirm what is the default app that your device is using when uploading the custom skin? If you are using Google Photos, please try using Gallery app and see if that will help.

Normally a Minecraft skin file is 16x16, and can go up to 32x32 on Bedrock edition. If the image is the in the correct dimensions, you could try using something other than the default photo manager.

Many photos on iOS will be compressed in the default photo library, and can stop the skin from working in-game. You could try using a different app for photos, or use the files app instead. If Minecraft doesn't let you import the skin directly from the files app, try sharing it and saving it to photos, then import it as soon as possible.

If you're on Windows, then the only possible issue you could be having is incorrect image dimensions or a wrong file format.

If you're on Android, then like Tadeu said, try using a different app for importing the skin.

Minecraft Bedrock is available on your phone. You just need to download the Minecraft app on your iOS phone or your Android phone. Once downloaded, you'll have to log into your Microsoft account. You'll be able to play with your friends : Minecraft : Bedrock Edition is cross-platform.

Please note that this is a separate purchase from the PC / Xbox version of Minecraft.

Yes when I try to change my skin in Minecraft Java my skin is stuck on the Alex skin but the same skin works for the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft . And I have tried using another skin but that too did not work .

Regarding to your information I assume that you have some problems in Minecraft when you linked your Microsoft account to your ps4.

For the world you created before, you can follow these steps to try to transfer the world.

To transfer existing worlds from Minecraft: PS4 Edition to Minecraft:

1. In Minecraft (Bedrock Version), select the Sync Old Worlds button at the bottom of the worlds list in the Play menu. This finds any worlds on the device from the Minecraft: PS4 Edition and displays them below the button.
   
2. Select any of the worlds that are displayed to convert it to the Bedrock edition.
   
3. After conversion, the world will show up above the Sync Old Worlds button, along with the rest of your Bedrock worlds.
   

(Note that worlds that were created on PS3 can no longer be transferred to PS4.)

For the skin you can try to follow these steps and try to sync them.

Characters that were edited and accessorized by using the Dressing Room will sync with your account when you launch Minecraft on another device. For more info about uploading custom skins into your game, see:
