I have the same error code. I can download my profile on my original console but am switching consoles. When i put my hard drive into the other console, it asks me to put in my password to use my profile. I put in my password (which i know is correct and
have tested), and it gives me the error code. Yet, i can go back to my original console and sign in without any problems.

Refund because like everything with Microsoft it takes ages so what else can u go to put this right I’ve spent over an hour resetting passwords trying to log in when a simple phone call would put this right straight away

Now, is the console asking for the Wi-Fi password or the Microsoft account password? If it is asking for the Wi-Fi password, then that would have to be changed online. You would need to sign into the router page on a web browser and change the password there
if you have not done that yet.

If it is asking for the
Microsoft Account password, then you need to enter the email into the console sign-in area and put forgot password.
