    Let me help you with your concern today. Please note that this is a public forum and I'm merely user, I apologize for a delay in response.

    You are in the sign in part of setting up the console, right? You should have an option there to sign in directly on the console, but if you selected the "Use another device" option to sign in, please follow the URL displayed on your screen and then enter the code. Here is the link where you will enter the code on your screen https://www.microsoft.com/link

    Windows Media Center is no longer supported

    Plex is your best bet for equivalent functionality

    From the screen shot you posted it looks you do not have an active Xbox Live Gold and that is what is preventing you from joining. Can you please confirm if your membership is a Gold or Silver one?
