I'm trying to set up my new xbox x and it's having trouble updating an error code starting...

Kindly perform an extended powercycle and reset the network hardware by following the steps below:

" 1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state."

I'm getting the exact same issue. Started tonight. I've update my Xbox to the most latest update, tried hard resetting and still no luck. I only have 3 games on my Xbox One, all digital copies. Halo 5, Battlefront, and Destiny. All of them will start up
but then kick me out after about 10 seconds with an error code saying: "Try again in a while. We're having trouble connecting to Xbox. (0x87de0017)"

I have done all the about a thousand times it started about 4 weeks ago on my one year old xbox x console so I bought a new one last week and that is doing the same thing I also got to that a bad system update got releases about 5 months ago and its leaving
bugs on the system I have tried today to update the console and it gave me a error when updating system so I power cycle the console the update started working on the step 3 of the update xbox goes off and come back on with a error e 208 I searched that code
up and nothing is telling me about the code then I get e102 then I try again and get e105 but for it to happen on 2 xbox one x consoles they is a problem with the software I also have a xbox s and it's working fine

I'm also having the same trouble, and I keep getting the same Status Code you've been getting. After looking up the code on the website, I found this:

"This error occurs if your console has been tampered with or modified. Your console can no longer connect to Xbox LIVE, install software updates, or play new games that require a console software update."

The problem is, I haven't tampered with my xbox at all, and I'm sure you haven't either. I'd like to get this fixed.

This exact same thing is happening with the Xbox One X. Update not working, throwing up error codes, nothing happens if you reformat to factory settings.
