I'm trying to reinstall cod but when I press install it immediately says it needs an update...

This issue may be caused by a corrupted update file or a network problem. Here are some steps you can try to fix it:

- Make sure your console is connected to a stable internet connection and has enough storage space for the game.

- Go to My games & apps > Manage > Updates and delete any pending updates for Call of Duty.

- If the installation still stops, reset the Xbox console.

1. Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.
   
2. Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.
   
3. Select Reset console.
   
4. On the Reset your console? Select Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It resets the OS and deletes all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or apps.

I'm getting the same problem with COD Ghosts... Day one update was fine. COD Ghosts installed 100% try to play but says needs update, but the says there is s problem with the update! Checked connections and that's fine with no errors??? But cause can't update
I can't play... Ridiculous!

It says that it can't be launched and that the item is corrupt. Try uninstalling and reinstalling. Followed by the code (0x80070570), immediately after trying to install.

I’m having the same issue I have multiple add-ons that I’ve uninstalled themselves in Mortal Kombat X in Mortal Kombat 11 it says they’re installing and then they uninstall themselves immediately afterwards it says when I’m installing them that they are
a wb games update Well showing the ad on icon saying they’ve been installed and then immediately goes back to needing to be installed again right afterwards
