I’m trying to play Minecraft with my friend but it keeps saying unable to join world

Is this happening on Xbox or PC?
If it’s on Xbox, what console do you have?
If it’s on PC, are you using windows 10 or 11?

In any case:
Is this happening only with this game or if you try a different game something similar happens?
And, what did you tried so far to fix this
In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

I cannot join my friend's world ( he is ps4 and im xbox ). We are both NAT type open and i've tried everything to join, it keeps saying unable to connect to world and i desperately need to play. Thanks, I appreciate any help

Xbox and ps4 are not crossplay at the moment for minecraft. Pc is on the other hand. Hope I helped

Make sure the world is set to allow friends to join and not single player amd your both on the same verson

After trying different things,only one worked. The way i solved the error was by removing my friend from friend list and adding him back again.

Please keep in mind that there are multiple things that can cause this error, and since there's no error code you'll have to try different things.

Hello, whenever I try to join a friends server it says unable to connect to world and if the try to join me they get hit with the same message.
