I'm trying to link my Xbox account to EA

I'm trying to link my EA account to my PS4 but can't as I've linked one previously

I have checked the link and the only thing linked to it is my Steam account nothing else. When I try to install a game Through the Xbox app I just get "something went wrong to continue linking your EA Account, head back and start over" And when i try to link it on the EA website I just get "connect_error_social_login_failure" and it tells me to reset the password But changing the password doesn't do anything and I just get the same message again. When i go my account in the settings from the XBOX app and click manage for EA nothing at all happens. I'm thinking that it is an EA problem but they don't want to admit to it. I don't know what to do anymore or who to talk to about this. I'm sorry for being such a bother. I'm just really confused about it all.

I have exactly the same problem. I don't even know what EA account has been linked to my Xbox account. I can't even tell you if it's mine. I've been gaming online since the 90s and I suspect at some point EA have acquired a game title for which I have an account and it's been linked to my Xbox account.

EA tell me the account is "deleted" but won't remove the Xbox link. It's a ridiculous situation and I can't link Xbox to my real EA account while the current link exists. The link between Xbox and EA should be a 2-way agreement where it can be severed from either side. I've been on to EA reps for 5 hours. They really are awful.

As it stands I can't ever play EA games through Game Pass and I'm cancelling my membership until there is a better solution in place.

I appreciate that you gave me some of your time to assist me catch a solution for my issue, I'll try it and I'll let you updated, basically I'd both delete/remove Xbox APP alongside EA play app, afterwards I'm downloading them once again, gonna sign in first with my main xbox account then link my xbox store account and finally gonna try to link my xbox main account with the EA play.

I wish that the steps I've mentioned above are right, and if I'm mistaking one of them, let me know.

Let's try logging in to your Xbox account using the Xbox app. Search for an EA play game there, after installing it, it should try to log you into the EA desktop app and link your accounts. Let me know if this works.
