YOU ARE SO CORRECT. XBOX CUSTOMER SERVICE IS PRETTY LAME. THEY ARE STILL TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHY 360 GAMES THAT I PAID FOR STILL DONT WORK ON MY SERIES X. (YOU SEE THE GAMERTAG XBOX, LOOK IT UP). XBOX ISNT WHAT THEY USED TO BE.

I just bought a brand new Xbox One X, but when I go to the store, Flight Simulator and other Xbox Series X/S games say they are "not playable on this device" and I can't get Flight Simulator to install on my brand new Xbox One X because it says it's "not compatible". Very frustrating.

So you bought an Xbox One X and expected to be able to play an Xbox Series X game on it?

Why would a game made for an Xbox Series X work on an Xbox One X?

If you want to play Xbox Series X/S games I would take your brand new Xbox One X back to the store you bought it and see if they will take it back and you could try and buy an Xbox Series S (Series X consoles are very hard to find, but a Series S can be found fairly easilly)

I'm glad I found this forum and this thread, I bought an LG C2 TV and an XBOX series X (to replace my series S) about 2-3 weeks ago. I've got this exact same problem with the 640 connection and also I've got issues with it losing connectivity and giving me digital snow. Unplugging the HDMI cable and plugging it back in again gives me the picture back on screen.

I couldn't figured out if it was the TV or the XBOX that was having the issue and I was trying to figure out which one it was I needed to replace.

My XBOX series X is brand new, purchased from Best Buy, in a shipment they had just received. May 2023.

I'm going buy both the HDMI repeater and the optical cable listed above and I'm going to try them both out on my setup one at a time so that I can find out which one, or if they both can solve this issue. If I forget to report back here in a couple of weeks, hit me up and remind me.
