I'm trying to figure out how to refund an Xbox gift card, but nothing I do will help

For some reason everything I try doesn't work. All the stuff that tells you where to go, doesn't work, and nothing I've tried seems to work

Gift cards typically can't be refunded, especially if it's already been redeemed. If it hasn't been redeemed, you'd have to contact wherever you bought it from to see if they can refund it.

I'm still trying to figure out how to claim the gifts as a current subscriber. If anyone figures it out let us know.

This is just so frustrating.

I'm at the point where I'm willing to go the gift card route, but I cannot even figure out how to do that.

I see 2 options on the Microsoft Store:

1. A $75 gift card, but that won't help because he cannot get subscribed anyways

2. A **1 month** PC Game Pass gift card that kicks in at $9.99/mo afterwards... he won't be able to redeem because of the recurring.

I'm about to cry because I gave him "PC Game Pass" for Christmas and he has not been able to play yet.

Why is this so difficult??

I haven't encountered any company that doesn't refund gift cards and Microsoft itself refunds Microsoft Store gift cards, it's only Xbox gift cards that seem to be non-refundable for reasons no one can explain to me. Guess I'm just screwed
