If you turn off remote play on the Xbox, then he will no longer be able to do so. I would imagine that the app is very likely signed into your account.

4. Under Power mode, select Instant-on.

thank you, also when using remote play the Xbox button on the controller dosent work, but it still works when I’m not using remote play

Yes. If I’m on my mobile network at work and try to remote play I get black screen.

When I’m home on my wifi it works fine.

But when I’m away or even at home and try to remote play on my mobile network I get the black screen. Was working fine before. Don’t know what happened

check that the remote works correctly, try pairing it with a smartphone, if it reacts correctly, try the "xbox accessories" application to configure a new remote like when you set up the elite

Whenever I try to connect my console to the XBOX app it tells me to sign into my account, but every time I have it says to try again later, this has been going on for a week.

1. Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide.
   
2. Go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features.
   
3. Select the Enable remote features checkbox.
   
4. Under Power options, select Sleep.
   

Note If your console power mode isn’t set to Sleep, remote play won’t work.
