    when you say 'connect to my pc', what exactly do you mean? Are you trying to play Xbox on your PC monitor? This would simply mean plugging an HDMI cable into both pieces if they both have the right sockets. You can't literally plug your Xbox into
    your PC though.
    Yes, I am trying to play Xbox on my PC. I have plunged the Xbox into the in socket on the rear of the monitor, and into the rear of the Xbox via an HDMI cable. But nothing happens.

    Do you by chance own the Xbox 360 VGA converter cable specifically for plugging your Xbox into your PC monitor? It's a VGA connection but it could be a temporary fix.

    Do you have an HDMI cable on your monitor? I'd try using an HDMI cable and seeing if that does the trick. If it does, you could always try using the HDMI to DVI cable on your PC (in fact, you should try using the cable on your PC to see if its the cable
    that's not working.)

    I just have the soundbar connected to my tv via optical cable and my xbox is connected to my tv via HDMI.

    There are HDMI to DVI cables. There are digital audio to analog audio adapters. There are also VGA cables for 360s that have an AV port (the 360 E does
