You won't be able to connect it to the computer itself. If your PC/laptop has HDMI (99% do), these connections are output only, they can not be used as inputs.

If you have a monitor, you can use this as a display.

The computer itself or a monitor?

I am having similar problems.

I have been using the same modem and set up for a while now. There is a modem/router connected to the main computer. My computer in my room is connected via wireless to the router. My xbox 360 is connected to the computer that is wireless and I have the
connections bridged and set appropriately, and the 360 see's my computer and I can even play for about 10 or so minutes even win a round or two in some fighting games, but then it disconnects me from xbox live entirely and I have to manually click to sign
back in. If it wont let me connect going to the network screen and trying to test connection always re-connects and then once I try to play it disconnects again.

Possibly an issue with Live?

Well i have 3 computers that connect to it plus my 360 and sometimes my internet would drop at least a few times a day when im home....funny it never happens while im playing a game just when im on the internet ....figured time to update but yeah this router
has been good to me just thought with the new xbox one maybe i need to upgrade.. sometimes i have trouble watching movies in HD on my 360 time to time...
