I'm trying to change or remove the phone number linked to my Xbox account.

Please go to Your Microsoft profile. Then, above your gamerpic, you'll see "Profile" and "Contact info"

Click on Contact info, the one number should be there.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. In order to change the phone number that you authenticate your account with, you must update your security proofs. Follow the steps on this support article for assistance: Delete
your Microsoft account security info

Hope this helps! Please note that you have to authenticate your account before removing security info. If you are unable to authenticate first, you may still be allowed to update your information but this will lock your account from making any future changes
for 30 days. You will still be able to use your account on Xbox.

I went to Microsoft then profile, I saw my gamerpic, went to contact info and it said "There are no phone numbers associated with this account" but every time anything needs a verification code that code gets sent to my mom. I don't know what to
do.
