    I'm suddenly showing in new players "suggested friends" and getting spammed with hundreds...


    Last week, i suddenly started getting non-stop spam, every few seconds from random people. 90% weren't even able to speak my language, the other 10% were 6 (yes literally 6) years old. Game invites, party invites, messages.



    I didn't learn what happened for a few days, and this persisted without pause. Eventually learned that I've suddenly got put to every new users "suggested friend" and even for some who aren't so new. I've tried everything, but apparently xbox support
    says they aren't able to fix this?... So i'm just basically burnt on this gamertag and have to either A. deal with 1000 notifications per day or B. start a new account?



    Has anyone experienced this, or any info that may help? any fix? If a gamertag change would resolve it, i would happily. Just any help would be appreciated.

    Main issue with this is it makes it where you arent able to make “Looking for group” post. But will settle with this option, just wanted to check around to make sure there was no other option. Thank you

    You can change your privacy so you don't receive messages from anyone it's not your friend.

    Hi,

    You can use your privacy settings to choose who can contact you:

    Settings -> Account -> Privacy & online safety -> Xbox Live privacy -> View details & customize -> Communication & multiplayer -> Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites.

    I guess this is the only option at the moment.

    U can always set your account to do not disturb and u wont recieve any messages they will only be in your inbox but wont show up on the bottom of your screen
