I'm still having same issues with transformers rise of the dark spark

only works with certain other accounts but not mine specifically for some reason, it'd just crash while with another account, it'll just keep playing

It’s a problem with your profile (possibly a memory/loading related issue once you collect too many lock box items? Or possibly a ”flag” applied to your profile - not your game save, so deleting it won’t help - that doesn’t pass an online check and freezes when it tries to sync with Edge of Reality servers). Once it happens, since the developer never released a title update to fix this bug, it’s always gonna happen a short time after launching the game, regardless of what menu you’re in or if you’re playing the campaign.

Sadly, this looks like a bug that popped up in the ported version (Xbox one version) and unless they put money into fixing this issue (which I doubt they ever will since it’s such an old, abandoned game), it’s always gonna happen once you’re struck with the bug.

All the recommend fixes (clear cache, power cycle console, etc etc) WILL NOT work. The developer has to release a patch/update to fix this profile bug. Nothing we do on our end can “fix” it…. with that being said…

Good news is that even though it’s a permanent bug once you get it, you can put your console into offline mode and safely play again without freezing/crashing. Even if you try to progress further and hit a checkpoint save to update the save data, that doesn’t fix the issue, so you always have to play offline once affected. Since Escalation mode servers are permanently disabled, you don’t need to be online, so you can enjoy most of the game without issue!

It’s too bad this bug popped up after the devs abandoned the game, but at least you can continue to play most of the game and unlock achievements without issue! Just remember that you won’t see cheevo tracking while offline, but progress is saved & they’ll unlock once you go back online.

Have you deleted your save? Sounds like it's corrupt. Make sure to do it from the cloud and locally

I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

"1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​"

If that didn't work we may need to remove and re-add the account where the issue occurs.

"REMOVE ACCOUNT​​​

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide. ​​​

2. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. ​​​

3. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. ​​​

4. When you're finished, select Close. ​​​

4. Read the Microsoft Service Agreement and Privacy Statement, and then select I Accept. ​​​

5. Follow the steps to configure your Sign-In & Security preferences to add your Microsoft account to your Xbox console.​​​"
