    As the title says, I'm not so sure about going up to the next ring (beta) out of fear that it might break in an unfixable way. Is this an irrational fear, or is that a thing that happens? I'm currently in delta considering moving up to beta.

    I'm sorry, I would be unable to tell you if it would or wouldn't occur again. If you fear losing data, you should always back it up by either copying it to a secondary storage device, or using cloud storage as a backup.
