Fallout 4's Fallout 3 pre-order code doesn't work

Pretty much as the title says. I've had F4 pre-ordered for months, and got a message from Xbox Live with a code that I could redeem for Fallout 3. When I tried to do it, it said the code had already been used.

How do I get a working code and how did the 1 I was just sent for a digital purchase already used?

 

where did you get the code from? if you didn't buy it on the xbox store you may want to contact who sold it to you.

but i got this code inside the game.

i think the game was used and the passport too so i think

its useless to contact with the reseller.

 

if it was a used game there's nothing you can do, sorry for that.

 

You would need to contact the place were you purchase/got the code from.

It could even be possible you have already redeemed the code and not realized when you first entered it.
