    I've contacted and gone over everything with my ISP multiple times and everything is fine on their end and seemingly on mine as well everywhere beside my hardwired Xbox consoles. I actually contacted MS support first and they helped me setup port forwarding
    thinking maybe that was the issue but it did not help and they insisted it was on my ISP end. My upload speed was normally a consistent 10-11 until about a month ago it dropped between 1 and 3 consistently. I've done just about everything as far as basic troubleshooting
    goes with no results. I'm wondering if others with the same ISP or maybe in the same area have been experiencing the same issues as well. Thanks for any potential help.

    Yes I tried disconnecting all devices and running a test wired and wirelessly and still coming up with the same results.

    I don't have Cox internet/cable but I did have inconsistency problems a couple of years ago through Brighthouse/Spectrum. But it turned out to be my router that was the problem, after trying a few tests to isolate it. I used wifi and for some reason it
    was dropping the signal nearly every day at least once and disconnecting me from Xbox Live in the middle of a game sometimes. I wound up having to get a new router but it did fix the problem and I was always connected with good signal after that.

    Well I'm not using a powerline adapter because I'm having these issues wired. I've also tested wirelessly to be sure and same results. My modem is dual band wirelessly and both frequencies have the same results. Hasn't been any changes the modem is right
    next to my Xboxes.

    I read up and as others have suggested it seems you have already tried to isolate the issue. I saw that you are getting decent connectivity with other devices. Do you have multiple networks from your ISP and does that affect the rate at all? Could any
    recent changes in the house or that you know of have affected the changes such as possibly moving the console or router/modem?

    Have you looked into using a 'powerline network adapter' or similar? I recently switched to one and it gave me some better results. I got mine at Best Buy where I was talked into it a few times before making the purchase but im pleased with it.

    Hi Gotham,

    You can contact your ISP and ask them if others have called with the same issue in your area. We wouldn't have any way of knowing if the same thing is happening in the area. Also you mentioned two consoles. Try disconnecting one from internet altogether
    than run a test on the one connected. I do know the Xbox does take a lot of resources so it may be all the devices connected. When talking with ISP you also can set the Xbox's to have priority over the other devices.
