I’m not getting party or game notifications on my Xbox, but receiving them on my phone

Just a friendly reminder though that there are multiple reports in regards to the said issue, however, there are no official announcements yet from Microsoft which means that we just need to perform troubleshooting steps.

Kindly perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

" 1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state."

Since your customer support. Nat type is open, latency is less than 52ms, notifications is turned on for everything. I don’t receive any notifications. No party invites, no messages, no achievements. Now before you say you’re not being sent anything I receive them on my phone the moment they come in. I either don’t get on my Xbox or if I do it’s hours later.

Restart your router or have you solved it?

Is this issue being reported more widely? I’m also experiencing this - no party chat invites or favourite friend Online notifications on my Xbox. I do get a popup for when messages received. I am getting notifications of everything on my mobile but not on
the console.

All my Notification settings are correct and nothing has changed recently. Just not getting invites. Quite a few people on my Friends List are also saying that they’re not getting notifications for the same things - friends online and party chat.

There's a current bug that seems to be going around sending and receiving game and party invites through Xbox. All of my friends play on an Xbox One. About a day ago I tried inviting a friend and they weren't receiving the invite notification on their Xbox but were receiving it on their phone. We have tried restarting our WiFi and our Xbox but nothing seems to work except joining their open party with online mode on. I don't know if this is a known bug or is new and unknown.

If anyone has any solutions that'll be great.

Yes i have the same problem i see i do get invites on my phone but not appearing on my xbox. I can only invite people i dont see friend rewuests but i see them in my notifications tab. But invites cant be found now i know others have the same problem

I’m receiving everything but friends getting on and sometimes I don’t get party invites and game invites. I’m playing on a Xbox console, but my Xbox app isn’t working either
