I'm not earning rewards

my account is correct, and I've done things to earn rewards, Like renewing my Xbox gold subscription. I don't know if I have to sign up or what but it's been close to four years with nothing happening.

Since your purchases in February did not complete a $10 amount, they were reserved to complete a $10 amount in a later month. As stated in our FAQ, we award on $10 increments. Since you opted into the Simply Rewarding offer in March, your purchases went
towards that offer instead of MyVIP, since purchases cannot be Rewarded twice. Regarding your April purchases, MyVIP for that month has been delayed due to an issue with some preview program members. Once we can ensure that those users are being appropriately
Rewarded, we will process April for MyVIP. Apologies for the delay.

If you are asking why your last Credits are pending, we only schedule a deposit automatically at 5000 or more pending Credits. Since your pending Credit amount is beneath this amount, it has not been scheduled. If you would like to request a scheduled deposit,
you may do so once you are at 1000 or more pending Credits. There will be a button on your MyRewards page.

 

Not earning rewards

I've noticed the last rewards activity on my account is 12/31/2016 with a status of pending and no rewards have been issued for this year at all. How do we get this corrected?

 

Are there any specific offers you're looking for credits from? In order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for an offer on the site at the time, or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates.

As of July 1, 2014, there are no offers to receive credits for renewing gold.

 

see that's what I didn't know, if I had to have some other program or vip level. How do I obtain one star? Or any stars?

After reviewing your previous Credit events, and your statement about Xbox Live Gold Renewal Credits, it sounds like you need a brief refresher about how our program currently operates. Currently, you can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at Xbox Live Rewards .

-or-

2. By earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game
consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. In September 2015, we made some refinements to the
program. One change that happened was an adjustment of MyVIP purchase thresholds. If you did not reach any MyVIP ranks with your purchases from September 2014-August 31st 2015, you were placed at a default rank. Since you are a zero star member, you do not
get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).


I see that your purchases have brought you very close to your first MyVIP star. After you get this star, you will begin to earn MyVIP payback on your eligible purchases. You are signed in to the program, but since your purchases have neither completed offers,
