    This has been going on too long. I've seen plenty of other people here with the exact same problem, but none of them got it fixed. Some people even say that this has been going on for them for years. I have tried restarting my device ,logging in on 2 other devices ,and just waiting a while. I need a solution. I just want to be able to play minecraft realms.

    How old are you?
    Is the age in your Microsoft account the same as your real age?

    Hi, use first your real age:

    https://account.microsoft.com/profile

    After that, you say that you're alone in the family group. Please try the opposite

    I mean, join to a family group (you can ask a friend with your same age if your mom or dad doesn't have a Microsoft account)

    Ask to the person to go here > https://account.microsoft.com/family/home > add member > select family organizer (because you're an adult) > type your email address

    Once joined wait 10-15 min and check if you're able to change and save your privacy settings

    The Microsoft account should be an adult account, but I'm not 100% sure since I've had the account since childhood. I'm 19 and my Microsoft account does have my real age. I have tried to change the settings in multiple networks and devices.

    Would you please share the exact error message that you receive when trying to play Minecraft multiplayer?

    If it is related to the privacy settings of your Xbox account, you will not be able to change it. Child accounts cannot change their privacy settings, doesn't matter if they are on a family group or not.

    If it is indeed related to privacy settings, an adult account will need to add you to his family group and change your account privacy settings:
