    I'm new to Xbox


    Hi, I'm Matthew, age 13, and I'd like to get to know some people. I'm new to Xbox :D

    I just got my Xbox 360 last month (I know, totally late to the party I'm new to Xbox :p) for $40 on Facebook and wanna friend some people with similar interests to me. I'm new to Xbox :)

    Hobbies: Web Design, Walking Around Town, Achievement Hunting

    Games I play: NFS Rivals, Bioshock Infinite and Saints Row IV

    I don't have many games so far (only the ones listed above), and can't come online often (can't afford the wireless adapter yet (I got the console without built-in wireless, but beggars can't be choosers.) so I occasionally use my brothers laptop via a network
    bridge), but I look forward to meeting some people! I'm new to Xbox :D

    I'm getting a new Xbox but.....

    Transfer guide. You want the USB section.

    Put your profile and game saves on a USB flash drive, everything else can be re downloaded using your
    download history.

    You will need to move your licences to your new console, there is information and a link to the DRM tool on the page in the link.

    I'm getting a new Xbox but.....

    So, at present I have a Xbox 360 Elite. However, it's on it's last legs I'm new to Xbox :(

    So I wanna get the 250gb Slim.

    Thing is I wanna trade in my Xbox to be able to get discount off the new one. Now this gives me the problem of the things on my HDD (eg games I have downloaded off the Marketplace). Is there a way to get all the stuff off my HDD onto the new Xbox without
    physically having my old Xbox there?

    So I'm thinking of buying a new Xbox series s.

    the tv for xbox needs to be 4k to support hdr, raytracing will work but your image is gonna look pretty poor, you would be better getting a cheap used monitor about 27" and at least 1080p or another cheap tv. 120fps will not work, you need a proper high refresh monitor which supports console 120hz or a very expensive tv that supports high refresh.

    series s cannot upscale to your tv, it would have to downscale as your tv does not have the ability to show more that 720p.

    Update Xbox app – In some cases, your Xbox app can have certain glitches and an update might fix that. To see how to do that, check our guide on how to update the Windows app automatically.

    Reinstall your antivirus – Sometimes antivirus will block exe files, and that will cause issues with Xbox app.

    You can visit https://support.xbox.com/help/games-apps/troubleshooting/troubleshoot-games-windows-10 and follow the troubleshooting guides from there. Hope there will be a way out.
