Discus and support I'm missing files in my installation folders. in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Whenever I download a game, it doesn't start, and when I see the root folder, it's missing all the files (???)     all windows gamepass games and most windows store game install to the windows app folder, if you open this folder and take ownership to try and view the games then you break the encryption and the games will not work.

    everytime me and friends try the encryption breaks and most of the games refuse to start, we change nothing apart from take ownership, as soon as the system is not the owner it kills it.

    You can try repairing the Xbox app (Start >Settings > Apps > Xbox > Advanced Options > Repair)
