I'm late to the party, but GTA V is brilliant.

Think I had to turn the sensitivity down a fair bit for first person view as well.

 

Ah GTA V.

The opening sequence.

Pretty good apart from like "FIFA" it presumes you play nothing but "GTA" all your life and know the controls like the back of your hand.

My wife was watching me play the opening scene with keen interest until I ended up running for cover behind this van... pushed a wrong button and sent my character into a slow motion face plant that left me in a crumpled heap on the floor... much to the
bemusement of Mrs Azrael.

Had that 1st Person view existed then it could have spared me some blushes...

It's a good game. Too bad the game has such a bad rep for being full of chavs, jerks and cheaters. That's what keeps the rest of my buddies away from it.

 

Tbh, that's not much different from 90% of online games Az, you aways get idiot's who want to spoil the fun.

 

GTA 5 story was great fun and Trevor was an awesome character BUT the MP or GTA online was a huge pile of junk imo

Isn't there any story expansions? Didn't GTA IV have them?

 

Not yet.Not sure whether they are planning any though.

The game gets a bad rep that it doesn't deserve as it's no different from any other online title. It's really good fun.

Haha, how old are they? Under 16 I hope, otherwise that's just tragic...

It's a pretty great game, never played it on Xbox One though, got it on the 360, then grabbed the awesome PC version!

 

the open online is/was chock full of griefers, running around in your own game with a few mates is a laugh we had a few forum sessions hosted by Cloud which were a right laugh, although Neurotic Hog tried his best to traumatise me.

 

I was really hoping for some story expansions for this, don't know if any are in the works or not.

 

"the open online is/was chock full of griefers" last time I played there was a guy in a sniper position outside one of the apartment blocks, just nailing everybody, fun times...

 

Admittedly, I did once or twice rig a car with a bomb and leave it blocking the pay and spray lol. The good thing about GTA online is its so big, so if you do come across some idiot's, it's quite easy to lose them or get revenge.

 

Yeah,it's nice that Rockstar support (too much?) GTO,but i'm really disapointed that they didn't add any GTA V expansion ( even if i've to pay).

I heard a while back that they might release a GTA V dlc but now i'm looking after a new Red Dead instead of DLCs for a 3 year old game.

Game is great. I played it for two months straight after purchase. Completed the story mode the fastest of any gta. I really was drawn in by how the missions influence the stock market. I might have about two hours on MP and wish more sp missions and stories
were up for dl.
