I’m kind of screwed here, no way to access my account

So, here’s my dilemma;

I have an account with Xbox. I’ve had this account for many years and many consoles. I have spent a good amount of money for services for this account, including games i’d dery much like to play again. I had an old school email set as a recovery email, and
was promised that the email wouldn’t be erased after i finished school there. I was lied to. Now, i don’t know my password, my recovery email is non-existent, and every time i try to reset the password, it says my information was insufficient. I tried contacting
Xbox support on the phone a year ago, as i was logged into the account on my current Xbox one. They said they would email me a fix within six days. I still have had no response. I am getting madder and madder as my own security is keeping me out and can’t
prove it. Today, my xbox decided to boot me out of my account and refuse to let me back in without logging into my account. PLease, any help is needed.

Locked out of XBox Live account and stuck in a loop

Same problem here. UK, and can't validate my son's account as it assumes US details.

Also had to permission my wife's account a couple of days ago, and her account is in no way a child account.

Starting to wonder if they've screwed up the 'Family Account' retirement even worse than they originally did.

The internet really is a veritable minefield of this kind of thing. I'm glad I didn't have high speed access as a kid because I'd probably be all kinds of screwed up.
