    İ've used a quite older Xbox one. eventually, it began overheating and shut down. as a solution, I formatted Xbox one repeatedly. that's why my rights to switches to home console are over. I will get Xbox series s tomorrow, but I'm worried about cant use
    my account. I had a one-year game pass subscription. I need help

    You can still use your account. You may just not be able to set the new console as your Home right away.

    There's a limit to stop people abusing the home console feature.

    The home console feature is meant for households with more than one xbox,it's not for sharing with your friends which can get you into trouble.

    5 switches per 12 months is more than enough unless you are abusing the feature.

    You used to only get 3 switches per 12 months.

    I have 2 Xbox's in my house, and have never had an issue with the Home Xbox (gold sharing) feature.

    You can share your Gold and game downloads but only some DLC via the console you have set as your Home Xbox.

    Are you having trouble switching your Home Xbox?

    I'm sorry, you will lose the one switch you have left if you use the home Xbox on your friend's console. You won't be able to set it as the home Xbox anymore on the new console.
