I'm having artifacting on Starfield.

I can see that you are experiencing black shapes pop in and out when you play Starfield on your Xbox Series X. This could be caused by a number of factors, such as a faulty HDMI cable, a corrupted game file, or a software glitch. To troubleshoot this issue, please follow these steps:



- Make sure your HDMI cable is securely connected to both your console and your TV or monitor. If possible, try using a different HDMI cable or port to see if the problem persists.

- Check if there are any updates available for your console or the game. To do this, go to Settings > System > Updates & downloads on your console, and select Check for updates. If there are any updates, install them and restart your console.

- If the issue is still not resolved, try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. To do this, go to My games & apps > See all > Games on your console, and highlight Starfield. Press the Menu button on your controller and select Uninstall. Once the game is uninstalled, reinstall it from the Microsoft Store or your disc.

- If none of the above steps work, please contact us again with more details about your issue, such as when it started, how often it happens, and if it affects other games as well. You may also post a screenshot of the issue here.

Wabbajack is more of a weapon to have fun with. The reason not to sell it is because it is a daedric artifact and there is an achievement called "oblivion walker" which requires you to have 15 artifacts.

There is a total of 17 possible artifacts in the game, 1 doesn't count towards this achievement (skeleton key) which limits you down to 16, you are only supposed to have 15 but i used the bug to obtain the 2 in 1 artifacts since i had to restart due to the
artifact quest glitching on me on my last character, better safe than sorry lol.

I finally found a solution after a lot of research & testing, here are the step :

- First be sure to have the Audio files corresponding to your language in : .\Starfield\Data\

- "Starfield - Voices_fr_Patch.ba2"

- "Starfield - Voices_fr01.ba2"

- "Starfield - Voices_fr02.ba2"

I suppose for German it'll be ge

- Personally no files present for me and I need to get them from the internet (not going to tell you here from where)

- Edit the .\Starfield\Starfield.ini (perhaps backup the file before but it's just one entry)

- Replace sResourceEnglishVoiceList=Starfield - Voices01.ba2, Starfield - Voices02.ba2, Starfield - VoicesPatch.ba2

by sResourceEnglishVoiceList=Starfield - Voices_fr01.ba2, Starfield - Voices_fr02.ba2, Starfield - Voices_fr_Patch.ba2

- Execute the game & enjoy

ps : note I'm pretty sure that if Bethesda made a correction update on the Audio files we'll certainly don't receive them. Hope they will implement the Audio change officially on the next near patch.

I'm wondering if you get any artifacts in the DLC would it count towards the 15?
