    im having a problem sharing other people's game clips.


    I'm having a problem sharing other people's game clips. if you send someone else one of your clips they usually would be able to share it to their activity feed or send it to someone else with it still crediting the creator of the clip but for some reason the share option doesn't even show up when the clip is sent to me and when I try liking it, it likes then instantly unlikes by itself. this account I'm typing this on and having the "like" problem with is communications banned and is the only account I have that does that, but every other i have is still unable to share. I'm hoping someone will have the answer since I can only see people having trouble sharing their own clips on here. I've tried checking all my settings, restarting my xbox and router, tried a power cycle unplugging it for 2 minutes then someone else said it had to be 5 minutes and that still didn't work, and I've tried resetting my xbox with keeping games and apps and that still didn't change anything.

    Im "sharing" my clips on twitter, IT takes a day for the newer clips that I make to HAVE the ability to do this but they all eventually allow you to share on twitter, an there is no app for this its just an option on clips in the DVR.

    Upload Studio clips will not share

    This is happening to me too, some more information:

    Any clips I edited in the "old" Upload Studio can still be shared (through messages, activity feed, twitter and showcase).

    Automatic and manual clips can be shared with no problem. GameDVR clips can be shared too.

    The problem arises when editing a clip in the new Upload Studio (which is amazing by the way!)

    Any clips that have been edited in Upload Studio 2.0 no longer bring up the share menu, it simply says "Something went wrong. Sorry, we are unable to share this at the moment. Try again in a while.)

    The clip still uploads to the official Xbox website, and can be played just fine on there and Smartglass - but cannot be shared anywhere else. Even the third party clip websites that scrape Xbox Live can't see these Upload Studio 2.0 clips, they simply don't
    exist to them - so there's definitely some kind of difference on the back-end with these new types of clips.

    I've done a full cold reboot (held the power button for 10 seconds until it switched off, left it unplugged for a minute and tried again), rebooted my router, closed all other games and apps before attempting to share etc etc. Nothing works.

    This happened with all clips I created yesterday and all clips I created today. We're not the only ones - at least 4 people I've spoken to on twitter have the same problem.

    yeah I have to wait to share on my twitter too, no problem though at LEAST they are able to be shared, since I have my tweets go directly to my timeline on facebook too!

    You can still SHARE on twitter if your Canadian AT least I can share my clips via twitter an Im Canadian..
